ERP for sheet metal shops

The quote does not end as a PDF: it becomes an order, a works order, a delivery note and an invoice without retyping a single line.

ERP for sheet metal shops

Most sheet metal shops live between a quoting spreadsheet, an invoicing package that knows nothing about parts, and a whiteboard in the workshop. Here the same part travels the whole way: an accepted quote becomes an order, the order generates its works order and shop stages, each workstation records its own work from a tablet, and at the end the delivery note and invoice come out already filled in. Along the way sheet is deducted from stock and you keep traceability of which material lot went into which order.

What the calculation takes into account

Quote → order → delivery note → invoice

Full chain with configurable numbering per series and year, and VAT per customer. Each document is born from the previous one.

Production by workstation

Configurable stages per order, shop-floor screens and tablets so each station records its own work. Sales sees real status without walking to the shop.

Sheet stock and offcuts

Sheet is deducted when manufacturing, and usable offcuts return to the warehouse for the next nesting.

Purchasing, quality, traceability and CMMS

Requests for quotation to several suppliers, non-conformities, end-to-end lot tracking and preventive maintenance by hours or by parts.

How the price is calculated

AI reads the drawing. Mathematics sets the price.

We use artificial intelligence to understand what you give us: a hand sketch, a photo of the part, a PDF drawing. To calculate the price we never use AI. Cost comes from a deterministic engine using the real geometry and physics of your shop: cut length measured along the contour, your machine's feed rates and accelerations, lead-ins and pierces, real nesting yield, gases, consumables, hourly cost, bending and finishing.

What that means in practice: the same drawing always returns the same price, you can show a customer where every euro comes from, and nothing is ever made up. With machines and materials properly configured, deviation from real shop cost stays under 1%.

  • Reproducible: same file, same price, today and a year from now.
  • Auditable breakdown: material, machine, operations and margin, line by line.
  • Accuracy >99% against real cost when the machine is properly configured.

From part to price in three steps

1 · Upload the file

DXF, DWG, STEP or PDF. A photo, a freehand sketch or a written description also work: that part is read by AI, and the outline is always shown to you before anything is priced.

2 · Pick material and quantity

Your catalogue, your thicknesses, your purchase prices and your machines. No generic online rates.

3 · Instant price and PDF

The quote comes out in seconds with a full breakdown, and your customer gets a branded PDF. From there it becomes an order, a delivery note and an invoice without retyping anything.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use only the quoting part?

Yes. Modules are enabled per account: some shops only want the quoting engine, others run it as a full ERP.

Does it connect with my accounting package?

There are connectors for Sage, Holded, Odoo and Billin, plus exports. The usual setup is to invoice here and push the entry to accounting.

Can my customers request quotes themselves?

Yes. Each customer gets portal access, uploads parts, sees the price instantly and follows order status. This is the part that takes the most load off the engineering office.

Shall we try it with one of your parts?

Send us a real file and we will send back the quote calculated with your own data, so you can compare it with what you get by hand today.
